Default NJ Gun Buy Back Question

So, as many of you know, NJ has banned evil ghost guns.

This weekend there will be a gun buy back.

Does an 80% lower qualify as a "firearm" now and think I could get money if I were to have such a thing?

    (this is mostly in jest)

They'll buy your man parts too if there is anyone left over there that has any.

Interesting opportunity to get some money from lowers you may have screwed up during your build.

    How much are they offering??

They don't say, its an "up to 250" line. But I think thats for "assault weaponry"

We all know that an 80% lower is not a firearm.
Whether they will give money for one is their call.

I would never participate in helping make their event a "success" - no matter how much they are offering for a junk gun.
That's just me though - others see it differently.

They'll label the event as a success anyway even if they take in just a few rusty 22 bolt actions from a widow's basement.

The question you need to ask yourself is "Does New Jersey care what the law says?". If you are willing to gamble arrest, getting your car impounded, lawyer fees, and confiscation for the sake of turning a profit on 80% lowers go right ahead.

You own property. Show your receipt, if they want what you got? They pay that price or the increase if so. After all, gas stations tie their prices via gas/oil futures.

See - you see it differently. Or at least seem to try to somehow justify supporting them. It's not the first time I've heard it.
Whatever. We all have our own thoughts on things.
