I also put a piece of candied bacon on my burger.

The Polish cookies were good too.

I'd like to thank whomever brought the candied bacon...and the small home-baked cookies.

I put the bacon on the cookie and it was a great combo.

That was the best candied bacon I ever had, I'd like to get the recipe for that if I could and those were some damn good cookies...and the bacon wrapped mini-dogs were good too, so were the baked beans, the tater salad, the Dietz and Watson all beef deli franks and the hamburgers. Come to think of it there wasn't anything there that wasn't good.

The candied bacon was made with bacon pepper jam. It comes from Tastefully Simple. It was my first attempt. I will be making it for the next group shoot too.

The lil smokies is relatively simple . Cut bacon into 3 equal sections. Wrap around the smokie put on cookie tray. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake until bacon is cooked.
The pan does get really sticky from the brown sugar. I use any pan spray before i put them on the tray and that usually helps with the stickyness.

Use parchment paper on the bottom of your pan instead. Makes clean up easier and nothing sticks to it. I bought 1000 sheets a couple years ago and I'm not anywhere close to running out. I use it all the time.
