Default Adding 200 fps to an air rifle pellet by dieseling

A pretty neat idea, but heed the risks caused by increased pressures. I ran this 10+ minute video at 1.25 speed. Actual diesel app begins at 5:20.

There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

3in1 oil will gum things up when it dries. It's a vegetable based oil.

I broke my RWS Spring piston rifle this way. But it was unintentional. Beeman used to sell a chamber oil that was supposed to lubricate the seals and improve accuracy. I put a couple drops in the chamber like I was supposed to do, worked it a little then fired it. I heard a big supersonic crack and when I opened it up you could see smoke. It would not lock back when you tried to cock it anymore.

Luckily RWS has a lifetime warranty and they fixed it. I was just out shipping and the price I paid for the POS Beeman oil.
