    Default Shooting restrictions in Bedford?

I’m purchasing some land in Bedford area (not within the Bourough) and
Wondering if there are any restrictions on target shooting?

Coming from Maryland I suffer from BGOS so I always assume I’m doing
Something wrong. Was wondering about using tannerite, target shooting during
Hunting seasons, noise ordinances, full auto, 50BMG, and anything else
That I could run afoul of?

    Thanks!
    Mike

Contact your township supervisors. At a minimum, the township's secretary/treasurer might know the skinny better than the elected official.

    Unless prohibited, it's legal.

It's a municipality thing. More often than not in rural areas it's noise ordinance.

    ETA:

When it comes to shooting on your own land it's best to be as far away from neighbors as possible. If you are looking to buy a smallish parcel (say 10 acres or less) and there are lots of Mcmansions and Maryland refugees in the area expect problems. It will be a crap shoot. If you want to blow shit up all the time you may want to look into a farm or serious acreage far away from anything where no one is likely to care.

Thanks.. It’s over 150acres so hopefully OK. I saw the closest neighbor had
150 yard safety zone signs posted but we can easily be 150yds away from their
House and sill have a safe range setup..

I will contact the township office this week and double check and let them know
    My plans

    Thanks
