This and the new King Cobra both have my eye. I have the standard LCR in .357 now and it's a great carry gun.

Just bought one from TSS it's on the way... I plan on having TK Custom machine the cylinder so I can also run 9mm in it - dont feel like waiting to see if Ruger will release the 3inch 9mm LCRX...

My lcr357 w/ct laser was the worst recoiling gunn Ive ever shot and I shoot 480 ruger and 454 all the time.
I shot it 12 times and traded it in.
On the plus side I paid 399, and got 450 in trade in value for it.

Ordered one and should be at my FFL tomorrow... the weight of this is actually not that far off from the sp101 so we will see about recoil... i am definitely going to have the cylinder machined by TK Custom to also run 9mm in it.

What do they charge for the milling, and I assume it's with moon clips?

You can use the standard ruger 9mm moonclips but yes you need moonclips... cool thing about it though is that it allows the ability to run 357mag/ 38spl with or without moonclips (adding moonclip ability for 357/38). Have to recheck pricing and will post, as I recall it's not bad.

It came today, I picked it up earlier this afternoon... model # 5444... its light but has more heft to it than other LCRX counterparts (unloaded its 21oz vs 38spl 3inch at 15.7oz and 22lr/22wmr at 17.8oz) - which i am hoping will help with shootability.

Removed the larger grip it comes with and put the standard smaller tamer grip on it from my 9mm 1.87" barrel LCR.

Fits excellent AIWB right in that front blade area of body... hunting for holsters for it... Garrett makes a good looking one and this Safe2Fire company (not sure if they still do saw some nice kydex ones online)

9mm conversion (but will still shoot 357/38 but also adding moonclip ability for 357/38) by TK Custom is pricier than I figure at approx $300 (ouch); Mark at Pinnacle in Quakertown will also do it - not sure of pricing... possibly also a local smith I know...

Will shoot as is and make a decision later... or if my stuff on here sells might us that cash to pay for conversion.
