Just kidding. But here are some pics. I was hiking on Broad Mountain in Carbon County and came across these beauties and many more. I sure wish I could identify mushrooms to eat because they are everywhere.

Yup, that's what it looks like alright. Well if my choices are death, trip, or don't eat, I choose don't eat. I still wish I knew which ones were food. It sure would be fun to take my wife for a walk in the woods and just shove a mushroom in my face right in front of her. She freeks out when I eat tea berries.

you wouldnt die if you ate those... they ARE poisonous but not to the extreme of death for eating a cpl caps... you would feel some psychoactive results and nausea and possibly vomit, might get sweats too but you wouldnt be seriously ill or die

you gotta be so careful with wild shrooms. there are many that look alike, many of them not indigenous to this area.

death by bad mushrooms is not pretty. some cause you to bleed out of every orifice. hehe... orifice

I've seen these mushrooms as well on the Broad when I go hiking. I think it would be neat to know which mushrooms are edible in our area.
