From what I am reading, it looks to me like the Liberal Democrats have shot themselves in the foot.
They have gone so completely overboard with the political witch hunts and violence that even "moderate" Republicans have no more patience for their threatening bullshit.
It looks to me like the Republicans have the votes and they are going to confirm Trump's SCOTUS pick as soon as possible.
