    I don't know why people are harping on this 2016 thing as they need to read the Constitution, it's very clear and plainly spoken. There are two parts, the President nominates, the Senate provides it's advice and consent to confirm the nominee. There are no requirements on timing nor does the senate have to provide it's advice and consent to confirm the nominee.
    far as i see it, they took off the gloves and threw the first swing in their temper tantrum. then they burned a few cities. we just need to decide how long we want to let them keep trying to bend us over before we stand and fight back.

    in 2016 the president nominated but didn't get a vote, his problem. they would do nothing less and certainly more to us if the tables were turned. time for us to distract them and punch them in the throat.
