Re: Ginsburg In the hospital
The argument back then was that Obama was at the end of his second term & definitely was not going to be the next POTUS, so the appointment should be for the next President, which could well have been another raving libtard Dem also.
Even so, if Donald nominates a replacement, the Dems will have a hissy fit, and we'll have a fight on our hands. We may just have to be content with having one less liberal asshole on the SC until Donald gets re-elected."It's hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."

Re: Ginsburg In the hospital
The Supreme Court does not have a say on a replacement. The President nominates someone for a vacancy on the Court and the Senate votes to confirm the nominee, which requires a simple majority. In this way, both the Executive and Legislative Branches of the federal government have a voice in the composition of the Supreme Court.

NEW: GOP Senator Lisa Murkowski announces she will NOT vote to replace RBG on SCOTUS until after Election Day, saying, "fair is fair."
How "fair" was it to label Kavanaugh a gang rapist?
