Default Do you carry a spare ammo on your person?

If you carry an auto do you carry a spare mag and if you carry a wheel gun do you carry a speed strip or a speed loader. If not why?

As voting shows I carry one spare 13 round mag in case of magazine failure and the possibility of a zombie attack.

I always carry a spare mag, just cause you never ever know.

Yes, always.... Unless impossible or oversight.

Extra ammo is about more than round count. An accessible reload is important reliability insurance for defensive pistol system.

One only needs to see one tumbled magazine to realize how screwed you would be without a spare mag.

I carry 2 spare mags in my front weakside pocket and have been for the last 4 years or so. They are but 7 rounders for a Kahr P9 Covert which is a 6 round flush fit mag.

There is no discomfort in doing so and I work construction crawling in and out of ceilings, in and under crawl spaces.

My only concern is being chosen for random drug testing where you have to empty your pockets first and lift up your pants above the shoe line. I have had to stash the pistol and mags on short notice. I now have a compartment in the bottom of my tool bag with a COM lockbox i got through Pa. Patriot and can readily stash the pistol and secure the bag inside a gangbox.
