I never said all Dems are poor and I never said anything about the whole state.

I see all the signs too. iN 2019, the Dems missed the grassroots. There were tons of Trump signs and almost no Hillary. They wised up a bit and are copying the idea. I can't tell if it is astroturf (just more money in signs that volunteers put up) or real people getting involved. Regardless, on November 6th get out an vote.

I also think the Dems are spending a lot of money to see that Cartwright keeps his seat. Cartwright is a progressive fanatic. What amazes me is that his campaign makes a lot of noise about Chirin's being an evil outsider from NYC/NJ. The hypocrisy is that Cartwright votes and takes the same positions as the most socialist candidates that actually get elected in NYC/NJ! I hope people see through the great myth in those commercials.

Signs don't elect candidates; votes do.

Get your conservative friends to turnout next week.

Agree. I don't know of anyone that's ever been driven to vote, or been swayed towards a party or candidate, by a yard sign. They're litter.

Plenty of Wolf, Cartwright, Casey, etc signs here in Delaware Township too; agree with Yoder's assessment. It's interesting to view the township and borough breakdown of the vote afterwards here: http://www.pikepa.org

You guys focus on the pressure from the east and Philly, but keep in mind central PA continues to see huge pressures from the PRMD too. The tract home builders even advertise down in MD, and we've had a huge influx of Baltimorons moving north across the Mason Dixon line into Lancaster, York, and Adams counties over the last decade. Not all are as wise as Curmudgeon: they bring their poor blue voting habits and unruly children with them. I'm afraid the plague of progressivism is creeping in from two sides of our commonwealth.

Didn't realize that. Suppose if you go past the suburbs of most metropolitan areas its much the same? Sounds like it could be.

Pike County seems to have fared better than Monroe County in this regard being a bit more isolated and off the beaten track. After the economy tanked almost all new construction stopped in Pike County.

Keep in mind Baltimore is less than an hour straight down 83 from York county. That's a do-able commute when a house costs 1/3 less in PA and taxes are substantially reduced.

Understand the motivation, it was exactly why, among other things, I was willing commute 1 hour and 20 minutes to come here. Plus the schools were better; my daughter was entering the 5th grade at the time.

At the time of the move only had five years to go till retirement eligibility so the extra commute wasn't a deal breaker. Ended up working a total of eight years before I pulled the plug and now work an easy going p/t local job in semi-retired mode. If we had stayed I would have had to work full time in a serious job to afford paying my property taxes. Life is good.
