Yup! They're nearly at 17,000 now. Most recent reports from the CMP forum this week are around 16,800-16,900. For reference, they were at 15,000 near the end of July.

I see they are getting ready to start round two but many of us still waiting on our round one notification . I sent my packet day one but got mid 18,000 number - ugh. Emailed and asked if they knew when all round one would be fulfilled. Will probably get a polite stfu and leave us alone but......

Just FYI there is a thread on the CMP forums where people post their number and the day they were called. Most recent posts show that people in the 18,200 range have been getting calls this week

Forgot about the thread - thanks. Well, I'm only a few hundred away then!

I just wish they would ship mine.

Got the call back in November, my FFL needed updated, got that straightened out and have not heard a word since. Must have moved me to the end of the line...

Might want to call your FFL and check to see if it's there. I didn't receive any shipping notification from CMP with mine.

Credit card hasn't been hit so I know they didn't send it.

I'm 174 away! Will it be this week? Seems the last few guys went with field grade vs Service? Any reason to do this besides $100 difference? I was going service if they had them to get best possible just curious as to why they would go field?

Mine is a field and I am really happy with it. They didn't give me the option for service when it was my turn. A lot of guys are choosing field or even rack in hopes of getting something with a more original finish, and possibly less rebuilds. Many of the early service grades that were being sent out were reparked in the late 70's or early 80's and didn't have much "character". It all depends what you value I guess.

Thanks, that's kinda what I thought. I really don't want a parkerized one so I'm torn. I have an "original" finish Colt already - and really like that original look.
    Decisions, decisions. Thanks!
