Log Splitter Part 2
No more mauls or wedges for me. I'm now the proud owner of a power splitter. 22 ton Huskee from Tractor supply. So far so good, used it for one afternoon and it worked fine. Split everything, even some really knotty twisted stuff. Light enough to move by hand is a big plus, as is the automatic return. Need to fab some sort of cradle for the off side to save bending over so much. Always wear boots when using one, not tennis shoes.

Re: Log Splitter Part 2
Look like the one in the picture ????? I've had mine for 5 years and it has split a bunch a wood. The fenders ain't in great shape for the logs falling on them though ....

Re: Log Splitter Part 2
Mine came without fenders so I won't have to worry about denting them up. I'm impressed with the splitting of some real gnarly stuff. All put together ready to go, even had a little bit of gas in the tank for $1165.00 total. Fits in the bed of a pick-up. Should of bought one years ago.
