What exactly is an adventure trail? Their web site doesn't explain it.

It's a metallic target "walk through" course. 25 targets per round.

Ok, but how long is it? How is it scored - just the # of hits out of 25? Do you shoot everything offhand?

I looked too and thought to myself "terrible promotional material".
All it says is that it's the most fun you can have with a gun.

THEN I clicked the video link in the first line. That sort of showed it - I guess.

25 targets of various size placed at varying distances out to maybe 60 yards. Each hit is scored. 25 out of 25 is a perfect score. Everything is shot offhand. I will be shooting a Ruger SBH in .44 for the first round and a Ruger Single Six for the .22 match. I may take a 1911 as well. All ammo must be lead or exposed lead tip. It's 5 dollars a round and for nothing more than bragging rights. More importantly it good practice for hunting. Most importantly I get to have a good breakfast and hang out with some good friends.

I get that....it is a very popular event. The place will be packed. I think it spreads via word of mouth more than anything. The club is also close to the Erie National Wildlife Refuge. I may take a camera along and look for some birds....I am a self admitted bird nerd.

I worked up a new load for my .44 with the help of a friend. I feel like I have to go to try it out. I am going youth mentor trout fishing tomorrow morning. It's going to be cold, windy and possibly snowy. Grrrrr

Can I operate operationally on this Adventure Trail?

    Bayonet charges?

    Drag wounded operators while fighting?

    Door breaching?

    Any of that?
