BANGOR, Maine - A television news anchor in Maine who looks a lot like Sarah Palin says she's been getting "hate mail and nasty phone calls."

Cindy Michaels from WVII-TV has long brown hair that she sometimes wears up in a style similar to Palin's, and she also wears glasses on occasion.

Michaels says some viewers recently began accusing her of trying to copy Palin's style or, worse, somehow trying to subliminally sway votes.

While smarting over accusations of bias, Michaels says she's generally flattered by the comparisons to Palin. Michaels describes her as a "beautiful woman."

I want to find the people that have the luxury to complain about stuff like this. I get crapped on about ten times in an average work week, and just suck it up, give it back if necessary, and head on proudly into the next crisis. That's life. I feel it's people that have been crying about shit like this for the last twenty years as well as those who bend over backwards to foolishly and profligately try make life more fair for them (even giving them the time of day by reporting it) that have contributed heavily to the Alice in Wonderland, sugar-laden instead of steak-and-potatoes reality we are forced to contend with today.

A couple days ago Meredith Vieira of The Today Show had to explain why she was wearing eyeglasses because viewers were calling in to complain that she was trying to look like Gov. Palin and sway voters.

Maybe if I buy Mayor Nutter's "school boy" sweater off of eBay and stand outside city hall and declare it's legal to own guns in PA, people will believe me. Oh wait, it is legal. But still, with that sweater I'm sure to be mistaken for hisoner, so I can make any laws up I want.

i think this kinda says something about how feeble minded the people complaining about this are.

apparently the complainers believe most people could actually be swayed to vote for someone just because someone else tries to look like that someone.

given that many people project themselves onto others, this could mean that the complainers themselves are that easily swayed (which is why they think everyone else is too).

which brings us to the conclusion that those who are complaining are very feeble minded indeed.

and, just for fun, let's copy their irrationality and over-generalize and say this proves that all palin bashers are feeble minded.
