I've seen several places that mention that Extar restocks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:00pm Mountain Time.

    Yay! or Nay!!???
I would get one... Economically priced and the AR controls and Glock mag make it an easy transition if you have ARs and Glocks. My Glock 33 and 24 mags stick a bit and don't drop free but Pmag and ETS have no issues.

It shoots very soft and is accurate...

You always can get a Foxtrot Mike later on from Prinary Arms...lol

I had to get the email alert and then jump on it... I didn't like the B5 grip it came with and ordered a BCM one to replace it.

THESE GUNS ARE EVERYTHING THEY CLAIM TO BE. THEY EAT ANYTHING YOU PUT IN THEM. VERY ACCURATE. AMERICAN MADE! THAT SCORES HUGE RIGHT THERE. THIS IS THE MOST FUN GUN I OWN AND ITS THE BEST VALUE OF ANY GUN I OWN. HATE BEING RIPPED OFF BY A HIGH PRICE EVEN IF IT IS A GOOD GUN.

normally i would agree except in this specific case... i would only want a takedown for this bc i am hoping to eventually have aftermarket carbon fiber barrels (addressing your weight concern + a lightweight chassis aftermarket offering) in both 16" carbine length and my shorty pistol length and bc its a "pistol" its legal to interchange... also wont the franklin armory binary 10/22 trigger work in this (grin)?

that said i love my extar556 gen 2, so dont let me dissuade any extar 9 consideration...

for 9mm subguns, for me, im going akv for looks/ shitsngiggles and pc charger for modularity... couldnt settle on one.
