Some will, some wont. Dont expect the bullet to go very far or have much energy. Just a short few inches can slow a bullet to BB gun energy levels.

Wrong, Springfield Armory XD Series handguns will fire underwater, and better and more accurately than a Glock.

    Woo hoo!

Now I don't have to get in that little boat with a rod & reel!

And to think I almost bought a Glock!

Would not recommend doing it with you head underwater, the shock wave in the water can do some serious damage to your cavity regions, such as ears and sinuses.

I have a video around here somewhere that Magills puts out that they test a bunch of different guns in his pool. Most of them went bang when the trigger was pulled. The autos did not always cycle correctly.

One constant was that the bullet did not go far.

I've personally fired my HK USP 45 C underwater.

2 mags, cycled perfectly with ball ammo.

    smoke bubbles are amusing

remember to fully strip and oil bath yer gun iof yer gonna try this

as a note, glock specifically sells a "maritime striker cup" thats vented to prevent water creating a hydraulic lock on the striker when fired underwater, or wet.

standard glocks do NOT come with this.
