Since I started one about superstitions, here's one about good luck.

My mom always told me growing up that if youdrive inder the incline tracks (this one is for pittsburghers) while the incline was over top of you it's good luck.

Do you guys have any other "good luck" type things you beleive in?

I dont believe that "rabbits foot" shit. The friggin' rabbit had FOUR of them, and look what happened to him !!!!!!! People carrying them around with keys attached to them, sheeesh !!!

We always put money outside the door on New Years. Its supposed to be brought in by a young man. The idea is that it will bring money into your home for the up coming year.

Another thing that I learned, that isn't exactly good luck, but I always thought was cool. It is an old tradition that when you give someone a knife as a gift you always give them some money with it (usually a penny). Apparently giving someone a knife was like asking them to fight, so you give money as well to assure them that it is a gift.

I heard that one too, but it was specifically about the Foo bird, and if it landed on you, it was considered bad luck to wash it off. It was an old Spanish proverb, but I think the way it translated from Spanish to English was.....
