    Default Pre-filled HP's

I was watching Guns and Ammo TV out of the corner of my eye and saw something about a manufacturer prefilling their HP's with soft rubber. To prevent plugging. Anyone know who or is this a new brand?

    thx,

Were they talking about the Hornady LeverRevolution rounds maybe? If so, they were developed for the tube fed rifles, so you can get better ballistics than flat or round nose without having everything in your magazine go downrange at once! I'm not sure if they're rubber though. I did a quick search and came up with some federal rounds with rubber in them.

I was thinking powrballs too, but the cut way they showed was a regugular hp which looked like it got a squirt of orange caulk (maybe rtv).

Not EFMJ's since it the opening was visible.

    thx,

Hornady also make Lever Evolution rounds in 357mag and 44mag. They still have the red rubber tip.

Yea I saw the same show. They look promising. I think it was a new Hornady round. A hollow point filled. I wish I would have paid more attention to the actual name of the product.

The TAP .223 rounds are constructed in such a way

I know that it was a Hornady product but I can't remember the name and Hornady doesn't have it currently on its site.

I saw the same show, I think it was a new federal line..but maybe hornady. I know hornady makes the ones for lever guns but these were designed as pistol carry rounds.
