Individual form 4s are being processed again with times pending of mid September. Mine are mid December.

So maybe they'll get to mine that was pending on 7/31.

Call the ATF 304-616-4500. They will ask your name, serial #, and transfering dealer.

I’d call them and see what’s going on. sometimes the phone call seems to jolt them into moving.

Pretty amazing how my wife gets an FBI check for school, and I had my TSA Pre done and both were approved in one day through the FBI - fingerprints to approval. Just goes to show it can happen if they want it to.

What exactly are they checking that is above and beyond what the NICS/PICS systems already check?

I do not believe they do anything with the fingerprints other than file them, and the background check they do is the standard NICS check.

Thats nuts. I just filed this week for my first time. Waiting to see how much of a headache it might become.
