Suppressor ready recommendations? cz p09
Hey all,
Looking for something interesting as a suppressor ready 9mm.
Ive been eying up a p09 or p10c in urban gray, but wanted to see what you all would buy in the sub 800 range.
I own a bunch of M&p's, had glocks and Rugers, but wanted to try something different.
So what say you.... Whats new that I should be looking at?Last edited by 1990dtgl98; January 15th, 2018 at 09:08 PM.

Re: Suppressor ready recommendations? cz p09
I don't have a suppressor ready handgun, but I like the CZ P01 Omega in gray. Ultimately I will probably settle with getting a threaded Lonewolf barrel for my Glock.
They are going for $650 on Gunbroker: https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/738966530"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"

To me, it seems like in the sub 800 price range, you're on the right track. CZ is the only one that seems to actually put suppressor height sights in this price range. I thought my friend's SP-01 ran very nicely with my Rugged Obsidian .45. The sights were plenty tall to clear the suppressor, more so than my USP Tactical 9mm.
There's other threaded barrel guns in that price bracket too, but they don't seem to have suppressor height sights (VP9 Tactical, PPQ Navy). Of course, both of them are cheap enough where you can add them on without going over budget.

Re: Suppressor ready recommendations? cz p09
I have one of the p09 suppressor ready. Even though it has "suppressor height" sights, I have a silencer co hybrid, which is still too big. I suppresses great I just have no sights. If you have a more pistol specific can you would probably be alright as the sights are definitely higher than normal.
I plan on putting a red dot on it and remove the hole iron sight issue completely.

I have an xdm with threaded barrel and factory suppressor sights. While I like it the czs look better to me and if I could find one locally I’d get one

look at the tread pattern from what i hear the left hand tread is a pain when combined with a right hand tread suppressor

I've got a CZ P-009 that I absolutely love. Fan-freaking-tastic gun. Anything CZ makes is, actually. Another option is potentially an FNX-45T. I've got one so I hate to admit, but their value (especially used) has been creeping down lately. A used base FNX-45T with no extras can be had for around $800 and is as good of a suppressor host as any.

They don’t make the fn in 9mm though do they? If so it would be a good choice
