Cumb Co Courthouse Lockbox
I've been summoned to perform a civic service....jury duty. I guess it's a good week for me to buy a lotto ticket.
I've been to the courthouse to pick up my LTCF and saw that they had a lockbox. My question is, will I have any trouble checking my firearm in when I report? I don't have a safe for my vehicle, so my only other choice is to leave it at home (which I'm not fond of). Anyone have any experience?
I did a search, but didn't find anything for this specific court. From what I gather, I should present my license and notify them that I will be needing to use their locker.
Perhaps I should just call the court.
Thanks.

Or, just show up at the court house and ask them to store your weapon in compliance with state law.
If they refuse, ask to speak to a supervisor, and bring a copy of Section 913(e) with you, just in case.

If you saw the lock boxes. You should be alright. I have been to the Cambria County Courthouse about 4 times now carrying, and they don't even flinch when I say I am carrying and would like to lock it up.
The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....
The day they want my guns, they'll have to bring theirs!!!Proud to be One of the 3%

Just did it yesterday at the Indiana County Court House. Oh, the deputy removed the round from the chamber (which was returned). Other than that, didn't phase them at all.
