Passport Photo

On the Philadelphia Police Department website they say that I need to bring a 1 1/2" X 1 1/2 " Passport type photo to apply for my LTCF

I went to CVS because they do passport photos and when I got home I noticed that my photos are 2X2 WTF??

Did I just waste $8.00 or should I trim them by a 1/2"?

I wouldn,t think so . when I got mine , I came home , took a pic of myself then reduced it on computer copied and cut it down close to size . no problem

I didn't know you needed a pasport photo to get a LTCF in PA. Or is Philly making up more rules again?

Every other county I know of has a digital camera and takes your picture in the office.

They seem to take any photo really, its just so that when you come to pickup your permit they can visually ID you, and probably for their records. The actual photo is digital and is taken when you are approved.

Every other county the LTCF is handled by the Sheriff, in Philly it is the police dept. gun unit, and we all know how by the book Philly PD is

i do not think they measure but i do believe you just need a "recent" photo that shows your complete face....i think they actually took my pic there at the arch st or race st place u get them BUT that was 13 or so years ago...my ltcf expired when i moved out of state and didnt renew...when i got mine redone i went to Montco sherrif, it took all of 6 minutes to get it done and they did the pics...philly is wack

WTF? In Monroe county they take the pic, its part of the fee.
