Newbie Saying Hi
Just wanted to say hi. I just bought my first gun 2 days ago. I picked up the Springfield XDM 40S&W. I can't wait to try it out at Wicen's farm. If anybody has any good tips for enjoyment and improved skills please let me know. This sight seems like a fantastic resource.

Welcome to the forums! Sounds to me like you picked a good gun to start off with. There are volumes of information here and if a search can't find it, then I'm sure someone will have whatever info you're looking for. Stay safe and have fun with your new XD.

Forget Wicen's...
Congrats on your new gun. Enjoy. But, as far as Wicen's goes...Do some research and find a gun club to join. In one day at Wicen's, you've spent half the total cost to join a club for a YEAR!

Welcome to the forum and the world of gun ownership. My advice is to train, train, and train some more. If you learn the right way now, you won't have to unlearn any bad habits.
