I'd never inform regardless...., but YMMV. I would also never suggest illegal activity at all, so consider your consequences if /or if not informing.

If the gun is anywhere that the officer might spot it during the stop, at the very least I would likely inform him/her that I had a LTCF. I'm not compelled to turn my interior lights on or put my hands on the wheel before they get up to the window either, but in my personal experience things go much smoother when I do my part to set their minds at ease a little.

lol. I saw that video and re-watched that part a few times for the laughs.

There's a fair chance they'll already know that. While LTCF info isn't included with DMV info, there are multiple databases that can be queried, including LTCF info, and based on reports "from the field", many jurisdictions make that inquiry a standard part of any encounter.

    Easy rule to follow too.
What if you drink continuously for the previous 24 hours?

There is no obligation to answer any question from a police officer during a traffic stop. Always comply and NEVER CONSENT. You are not helping yourself by talking to the police. It*s unfortunate, in my opinion BUT thats the way it is.

Mini-profiling of a motorist having a LTCF should put the officer(s) at ease. Gang-bangers and others the more likely to be a problem to the police generally do not qualify for a LTCF.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
