Glock 17 Gen 1
So I've been debating a G17 Gen 1. Do Gen 1's bring any kind of premium ?

Re: Glock 17 Gen 1
I would settle for a gen 1,2,or 3 right now all stock ! cant say either way if value is more or less, its not a S&W model 28 4 inch circa 1963,lol !

Re: Glock 17 Gen 1
I hope so, because I have one that is all original I bought in 1989! Like anything, it depends on the buyer's motivation. I am not a fan of finger grips, so I like the earlier models. The moderating issue is there used to be a number of Police trades, but these are mostly 22s in 40 S&W. That keeps prices down. Still, originals in excellent condition are getting harder to find, so a slight premium is not unlikely.

Re: Glock 17 Gen 1
Thanks. The one I'm considering is a Police trade w/Police markings so I guess that answers that. I enjoy PD marked guns but know sometime that means a bit more value and some times a bit less. The one I'm looking at is probably 80% or so. I'm going to try to get him to come down a bit
