Taurus 24/7 Out of Battery
I have a Taurus 24/7 that has had less than 50 rounds through it. I don't have an Owner's Manual but when trying to reassemble it based on an internet downloaded manual it won't go completely back in battery. The slide stops 1/2" short of full return. The reinsertion of the knockdown pen is pretty tricky apparently. Also, the photos showing how the recoil spring is reinstalled are pretty poor. Any suggestions?

Dustoff, welcome to the forum. If the online manual doesnt cover all your questions, a good source of information on taurus firearms is TaurusArmed.net. You'll find lots off great info on shooting here as well, but they're the experts on taurus.
