Springfield EMP .40 comments

I'm intrigued by the Springfield EMP in .40 s&w. This one has the steel frame, 3 inch barrel.

Can anyone with experience with this gun comment on:

1) Out of the box reliability
2) How many rounds until recoil spring assembly change
3) Long term durability

Can't speak to that gun in particular, but I used to have a Springfield 1911 Micro Compact in .45 that was very similar. Mine had a bad extractor when I bought it new, but Springfield took care of it. It worked fine after that but I never shot it a ton. I sold it some years ago when I needed money for something else.
