Default Glock 32 or Sig P320 Compact

I think it's time to add a 357SIG into the safe, and on my hip

I know the midsize Glock platform pretty well.
I have yet to handle a 320 although I have shot a Compact 250... I really want to at least dry fire one before I would just order one.

What would you pick. They are within $50 of each other.

Also, for the G32, what do you prefer. G3 or G4.

I've got a P320c in 9mm. If you can find one in FDE which is one I have that is an added plus. It also comes with a holster, and night sights. P250 accessories work well with it like holsters. I also hear the P320's trigger is better, but I've never fired a Glock to really compare.

The pros of the Glock is that it has a lower bore axis, slightly thinner profile, and it slightly lighter.

If you already have a Glock 23, 22 or 27 just buy the .357 barrel. Gen 4 is IMO, the best Glock made.

As for Glock vs P320, go with whatever is more comfortable to you.

I have a G33 in 357 Sig, use to shoot it quite often when I could get Speer Lawman for 13-14.00 a box of 50, but now it's almost 40.00 a box, so it hardly ever gets shot.

I often thought about selling it but I still use it as a carry gun, just don't shoot it much due to the high price of ammo.

Turns your 33 into a 27, gets it shooting again, and if you choose to run the stock barrel for carry it's a field strip away.

Had a factory G27 barrel, sold it as I'm not a 40 fan. I carry it and use the frame for my AA 22 conversion kit. Who knows I may just sell the upper someday.

    I have no Glock currently.
    Just shot em a bunch.
Shot my shair of 357Sig also.

The 320 I found is FDE, with tritium and two mags.

My other question is, if I go for the Glock...
    Gen3 with 2 mags for $50 less than a Gen4 with 3 mags...

The Glock in .357 Sig is a fine combination and my preferred carry weapon. Ammunition can be had in many venues, even some Wally's. Ammunition is NOT outrageously expensive as many would suggest. I generally order from Georgia Arms for their " Canned Heat ", or their Gold Dot rounds or SG Ammo as they normally have a wide variety of ammunition. Carry what you like and shoot well.

Yeah, I'm seeing FMJ around 45ACP prices.

For defensive stuff, same price as 9mm for 50.

    Seems like a no brainer...
    I'm leaning towards the Glock...

I own all three Glock 357's....

They are very accurate to shoot. Nice recoil feel. Snappy and straight back.

Watch for bullet set back from frequent re-chambering. At 40,000 PSI, you can't afford a set back beyond spec. I have been reloading them lately and they shoot great.

I have noticed that the slide get quite beat up at the rail area. I doubt that I shot more than 2,000 through each gun and they all are peaned pretty good.

My G33 trigger has been well polished and has a #3.5 connector. I can get doubles without trying very hard in part due the recoil impulse being so straight back.IMHO
With great power comes great responsibility....
