Legion Arms - Market Street McKeesport
Legion Arms, located at 619 Market Street, McKeesport in the former American Legion building, is now open for business. We are formerly PittsburghFFL that used to be located next door. Legion Arms is a type 7 manufacturer with SOT for suppressors, short barrel rifles, and machineguns. We have a full selection of firearms in our 2,400sq/ft store and also sell many accessories. There is a gunsmith on site that provides all types of gunsmithing services as well as cerakoting. Our sister company, PittsburghMachineguns.com offers machinegun rentals for parties and corporate events (not done on site). Legion Arms does online and private party transfers for $20/item.
Stop down and visit us! To find out more information about our store you can 'like' our Facebook page by searching for "Legion Arms". We look forward to serving you.

On the agenda for a future visit. I was fortunate enough to participate in a shoot with Pittsburgh Machine Guns, top notch group of people with really excellent guns. Seriously good time. Any shop associated with PMG gotta be good.

Re: Legion Arms - Market Street McKeesport
Sleeper,
Sorry you feel that way. Ironically, our margins have never changed, so if you felt the prices were decent before then they still are. If anything, I'd make the argument that as a whole our prices have gone DOWN because we participate in more and more stocking dealer programs. We pass the savings on to customers with the same margin instead of marking it up more on what we would normally pay.
In a 10% margin game, there isn't a whole lot of room for making money on new guns. We do our best to provide supplementary services like accessories, cerakoting, gunsmithing, blue label, machine gun shoots, and other niche businesses that other dealers aren't doing. We also have very good deals on used firearms as evidenced by the same customers that routinely come in to see what has come in.
Thanks for stopping in.
Jon

If not for the recent complaint, I'd not even know the place exists.
If transfers are still $20, at least I now know of a place to consider now that "GROPA" is no longer doing that.

Re: Legion Arms - Market Street McKeesport
By coincidence stopped there on 5 May. Nice store, friendly and courteous staff; asked if I needed help and let me browse around. Seemed geared to ARs and other black guns and handguns. Decent stock of firearms and lots of accessories. The new place should be even nicer; I thought Anthony's store interior was pretty nice.
I was at the County Airport and the only reason I found Legion was because I did a "Guns near me" on Google Maps and a few shops came up, Legion being one.
Looking forward to a future visit to the new location.

Been there a couple times for gunsmith work and once just because. Pickup up a new flashlight for work (Olight) when the inventory was tight. Nice place, and courteous workers. I*ll check out the new digs once it*s open.

Re: Legion Arms - Market Street McKeesport
Good luck with your new venture!
I visited your original shop a couple times, and am sure you’ll be happy in your new location.
I had a love/hate attitude with AA.
I liked their selection of used firearms but hated their CS. I’d been ignored or treated like an idiot many times.
Their condescending attitude sucked.
A word of advice is to not hire anyone who worked for AA.
Yeah there were a couple good guys, Leo, for one, but the majority left much to be desired.
