The best CC holster is going to vary from person to person. There are a lot of threads around here about which holster people use and why.

Personally, for CC, I use a Comp-Tac MTAC for my XD40 service. I have found I liked this the best and it is very comfortable.

But whatever you do, don't go cheap. You get what you pay for with holsters.

I don't know about the best, but I use a High Noon Split decision for IWB with my Taurus PT111-Pro and really it.

I use a leather IWB holster from www.blackhawk.com for my XD .40sc. It's comfortable, I paid $60.00 for it, and it's showing every indication that it'll last for years. I actually bought it for my XD .45 Service but it works just as well for any caliber Service or Sub-Compact.

I CC my XD.40 SC in a Don Hume IWB, at 3:30 and it works great and is very comfortable. Its quite likely the first holster you buy will not be the one you stick with, it takes a fair amount or trial and error to find what works for you.
