I was there in November and December on weekdays and was surprised by how open it was. No issues other then 1 guy trying to pick up everyone's brass and another who was openly talking about his unregistered fuel filter suppressor.

What recourse do you have to deal with the scum that wanders around stealing brass as you shoot it???

I shoot there 3 or 4 times a month most on weekdays. I also take my two sons (15 n 10 years old ) on some weekends . Weekday r good no one really there no wait time for a table at this time of year . For weekends the earlier the better also Sunday u cant start shooting till noon. I been using this range for 15+ years and the only problem I ever have is with people not understanding what tables r for what boards (cross firing).

Get a brass catcher. Something as simple as a cardboard box on the bench to capture rounds as they eject works well.
Or, while they're picking up your brass head over to their car and help yourself to their windshield wipers and hubcaps....

Thanks for the pic! If you do get out there again before me do you mind posting some pics of what the range looks like and the targets?

"Excuse me but I save that stuff for my reloads", is the approach that I would use.

I'd need a damn big box to catch mine. Not due to volume but due to spread. When I'm catching brass, I take a blanket with me and spread it out and it still isn't all on the blanket.

The temperature is 18 degrees right now. I bet there is plenty of room at the benches? Most time , there are open spots.

When the range is live, it may take 30 minutes or more to call a cease fire , to hang or check targets. Who wants to be the range officer? Not l.

To use the range, a Pa. hunting license or a permit is needed? I think?

    You are correct.
