Re: Unregistered ammunition?
And this is how it starts. Plant the seed of "registered ammunition". Keep using the term over and over until people believe that ammunition is supposed to be registered by law (a law that doesn't exist). It will then be easier to pass since everyone will think it is required elsewhere, so why not in MY (state, county, city, whatever).

Re: Unregistered ammunition?
Correct. Basically, a DC resident can only possess ammunition for a registered gun. So if gun is not registered...

Re: Unregistered ammunition?
It is not like I want to go to DC anytime soon, it is the most controlled and least "free" city in America. But being thrown in jail for having rounds in your car, as a non resident? I think I am going to write the NRA about this. Time for a lawsuit on that one.

Re: Unregistered ammunition?
I think it was approximately ten years ago a transient motorist was arrested for a fired, empty shot shell hull on the floor of the vehicle. Insane laws, enforced by police officers having no discretionary options, apparently. I've had enough of DC. I won't be going back for Rolling Thunder Sunday Parade. DC laws are not what those who gave their lives and limbs fought for. DC Laws are a slap in the face of all veterans.

all you get is ridicule, laughter,
