Default IDPA: Beast of the East @ Easton Fish and Game - 27June2014

Beast of the East 2014 ... some of our best shooting to date -- and at one of the most difficult and technical matches we have ever shot!

I got 1st Place ESP EX and Most Accurate
V got 1st Place ESP MM and a bump to Sharpshooter

    Hi Brian,
You are a great shooter, better than I am, and also seem to be a good guy.
I would caution you in posting embellished match results as they can sometimes come back to nip you in the back.
The beast of the East results were posted on the IDPA link , along with Easton's link before you posted on PAFOA.
I hope and trust this was just an E mail timing issue with your perceived results.
Nether the less, you shot a fine match and V kicked arse!

What in the hell are you talking about ... I took 1st ESP EX and Most Accurate. If you are referring to most accurate the IDPA page posted results are incorrect - notice how everyone is down 0 - giving the best overall time a perceived most accurate title. And Chris took Div Champ leaving me 1st ESP EX.

I don't think Ken would have given these to us if it wasn't correct

Here is a shot of the current IDPA web site.
I do not know what occurred after the event or what you think happened but this is what the Corporate headquarters states on their sanctioned page that we all pay for.
If you were First in ESP why did you not get a match bump?
Chris beat you buy 5 seconds plus, earning a bump and leaving you in second. That is a great feat ,why diminish what you achieved.

Philip was clearly the most accurate if you scan the stages.
Philip and Chris are great contenders and I do not think they would take kindly to you stealing their thunder. If I have posted anything wrong I WILL retract and offer my most sincere apologies.

The link you post is clearly from Friday the 27th before anyone but the Cadre shot the match.

Once again if I am wrong my deepest regrets

The practiscore results are official and the date is listed as such due to when the first scores are entered. If it wasnt, why would everyone have scores posted! Again if you noticed on the IDPA page, nobody has any points down. Your screenshot alone proves this - the times listed are the overall times including points down. You can cross check his final time listed on IDPA w the Practiscore link. The way Practiscore imports the data causes this to show that way. In fact I was 50 down while Phillip was 52.

Chris had the best ESP score overall which gives him the Div Champ title - shifting everyone else (hence me to 1st). This also gave him the bump

If you would like I can even forward you Kens email stating the results

I spoke with Ken and he has offered to explain this if you would like to contact him.

EDIT: He has corrected the CSV export from Practiscore so the IDPA page is now displaying correctly

Nice shooting Brian. Tell your wife the same. Are you going to be shooting at New Holland this Sunday?

Not sure why there seem to be so many problems with Practiscore. Lower Providence had issues with their last match and didn't post ANY penalties, only PD's. Made me look like a better shooter than I was on that day.

Edit: Also, I thought you shot an M&P. Both of the M&P's I've shot "automatically" released the slide and loaded one in the chamber if you load a full mag at slide lock with even mild force. Is that not normal?

You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

    Thanks

We are helping to run Guthsville so we will be there instead

The latest update to Practiscore really screwed up the output ... Ken manually added in all the PD to get the import to IDPAs page to read correctly

EDIT: For your M&P question -- yes, I shoot M&Ps and yep, they like to auto-forward quite a bit. Doesnt happen all the time, but I love it when it does! Its all in the angle the gun is in when you drive the mag home and how hard you do it

    Brian,
that is awesome that you were able to clear up the issue. I cannot believe how the Corporate IDPA site sent out "Final" incorrect scores.
I want to thank you for acting in such a positive way as I was doubting what was posted and as I stated, I retract and apologize for any question of what you had presented.
I am glad that you now can have your scores properly recorded with IDPA so maybe in a round about way it was good that I asked.
Once again great job with most accurate, that was a very tough CoF.
