Anybody go to Blockbuster on here? The backer cards they use to mark where the movies go on the shelf make great targets. I have a couple hundred at home as I just took home the ones we were throwing away. They are slightly bigger than a DVD case and are plain white on the back. Ask anybody that works there if they can stash some for you. A lot of employees will.

Lordiego01 and Spectre6, thank you ! (if not already done, can someone make a sticky of the target collections please)

For fun I blow up cheap balloons to size of a softball or so, and staple to the backstop at the 50 yd rimfire range. No need for a spotter scope. More gratifying for the kids learning to shoot .22 with iron sights.

They can make a mess but shooting clay birds is fun. A few years ago at SHOT I got my son a set of stands to hold the clay targets. Anyone else play with blowguns and slingshots?

Took one of OPNiCUS' targets to the range this afternoon... have to get ready for the big zombie shoot in August.

Here's 10 rounds fast fire at 25 yards with a 10/22. Target is standard 8.5x11 inch.

some great targets though........I need to pick up my G19 and a .22LR conversion kit.......I can see me using alot of the paper at work....
I guess I could borrow a .22 pretty cheap from family.....since I hate to practice "Practical Tactical with a .22 revolver!

Why not use a shopping bag? It is the size of a person from the neck to the belly button, instead of plastic ask for paper, spending money for food, why not get a few targets too. FWIW

lol thats what I do the smaller ones(saucer size) are almost the exact right "center of mass" size for a head or well vital organs/center of mass. hold it up to see. I just buy a cheapie staple gun and 250 paper plates and stick them up on the backers at the range...cheap and effective.

Recycling is the way to go.

    PIZZA BOXES.

They come in several sizes, pretty much everyone has a running supply, they can hang or stand by themselves, draw a bullseye or attach a target, usually contrasting colors and lots of red, they even include a plastic bullseye with most.
