What you describe is a Ruger LC9s Pro in my case...

Re: Skinny Pistol
I know many people really like them, and probably for some reasons I'd also appreciate..... but I held one a couple of times and it just doesnt feel right to me.
I have several guns which actually feel better to me than my Shield just by a small stretch. Two are 9x18's... not 9x19 like Shield but have the same single-stack capacity....and are perhaps ever so slightly tougher and reliable even. But Shield is good enough that its not a realistic worry. Shield is tough as nails.... just not milspec Makarov nails. To me having 9x19 over 9x18 is reason enough to let that go. The other gun I think feels quite a bit more ergonimic than Shield is my Arcus 94 (Bulgarian Hi-Power clone) , a totally milspec 9x19 probably tougher than all of the above put together.... but is too big for deep concealment and is single action only.

Re: Skinny Pistol
Shield is striker fired not hammer fired. Lots of places list it as DAO but its not really true

Re: Skinny Pistol
My EDC comes to mind, but it might be smaller than you're looking for. Walther PPS M2- single stack 9mm, striker fired, dual trigger safety and shoots like a dream.

Re: Skinny Pistol
XDs 4" w/ extended mag (8 and 9 round options), only mediumish frame that fits your criteria i can think of.

Re: Skinny Pistol
you're basically describing a single stack striker fired handgun...there aren't many out there. Glock 43, HK VP9SK, XDs, M&P Shield, Walther PPQ I think?
If you don't like those, try a HK P7 and probably the best of the bunch...its a striker fired lemon squeezer but prices are insane right now on P7's.
I would suggest you also look at something like a p225 if it can be had in a decock only (no safety) configuration, or similar a S&W gen 3 decock only. Ruger I believe also made such a beast in the P series pistols which was bulletproof. These are all DA/SA configuration guns though and you stated no double actions.
Most of the single stacks listed above are medium to small...
