AR 15 carbine Bushmaster buttstock questions
Hi, So it need to remove original collapssable stock to remove a single point sling thing and would prefer a a1 lop type fixed stock. I can't locate a good one and am willing to keep a cleaning kit elsewhere if need be. Can yourecommend a good fixed stock with a1 lenght of pull that will fit a bushmaster?

Re: AR 15 carbine Bushmaster buttstock questions
If you have a collapsible butt stock now you're going to need to change the buffer tube, buffer and spring as well. As far as the stock goes I would look for the original A1 style. I always see them at gun shows at surplus vendors. They usually have all the parts you would need to make it happen.

Re: AR 15 carbine Bushmaster buttstock questions
Magpul has a fixed carbine stock with a 12.2" LOP that can use your current carbine buffer tube. You just need to figure out if your current tube is milspec or commercial.(probably commercial) The LOP on an A1 stock is 12.8" but the buffer tube, spring and buffer need to be changed to a rifle length.
Heres an A1 stock kit (with metal door) which has what you need to change over to rifle length. http://www.fulton-armory.com/buttsto...1newblack.aspx
