    Default Question about Bushmaster rifle.

I am hoping that some one can answer a question that i have about an older BM rifle that I have. I was cleaning the gun safe and found the first AR that purchased many years ago. It is a 20" A2 HBAR, XM15-E2S, SN. L13**** The question that I have is, there are two set screws that stick down into the trigger area. One in front of the trigger and one behind the trigger. None of my other rifles have these screws, is this something unique to BM? I am not able to find a pic of a rifle with these screws and was curious if this is normal or is this rifle an oddball?

Sounds to me like you've got one of their old factory two-stage triggers. I believe they're called the National Match triggers. Again, just guessing here. Pictures would help.
