Which turkey ammo for my Mossberg?
I just picked up a Mossberg 535 with an XX- full turkey choke. I haven't had the time to try out various loads yet, but I intend to purchase a few different kinds and test them out this weekend. What would you recommend, what has worked for you, and what's the latest and greatest? I will either use 3 inch or 3.5 inch magnum loads depending on performance. I just shot a couple Winchester # 4 shot 3 inch magnum loads(think they were called super X) out of it and it patterned very nicely at 20 yards. That's all I've done so far. Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks, Isaac

Steel will work just fine but Turkeys are a tough bird. Its pricey but try some bismuth shot. It is heavier than steel, closer to lead than anything.

Just thought of something...Hevi-shot.
I've never used it but I have a couple of buddies who swear by it.
