If they are anything like the Guatemalan M1's that came in 5 or 6 years back then there will be more then enough to go around since no one will want them.

Just saw this on the CMP forum:

Up to one third of these rifles will be "junk" according to what I was told a couple years ago by Mr. Orest. Hard use and poor storage no doubt. Many will be Field Grade Specials maybe refinished receivers with lots of pitting. I would think the really nice rifles that have previously been sold will still hold their value.

It'll be interesting to see what they bring in. I'm glad I was able to pick mine out at the CMP North store. It's a service-grade WWII Springfield with a pristine 1955 Springfield barrel and a 1953-1956 H&R stock that doesn't match the hand guards. I love it because it's 100% GI. I'll bet these will have lots of foreign parts, new parts, and CMP wood, and will take some time for the CMP to process.
