Re: Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lowers.
Anderson makes a good lower. The only issue (which is very minor) is that the threaded hole for the PG screw might not be tapped quite deep enough for a standard grip screw. Get a tap and clean it out or just get a shorter grip screw.

Re: Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lowers.
Yes I purchased some bulk green tips at Walmart and they are all on these clips. Now I don't know why someone would want to call a clip a magazine? But I guess you know what you are talking about. Anyways I never used these "Clips" before and with the little tool attached to my "Magazine" I was able to load 10 rounds in 2 seconds. I am going to keep my eye out for more of these "Clips". They make loading a "Magazine" a breeze.

Re: Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lowers.
I have builds using both the old + new rollmark lowers, neither were problem free. old one has a really tight magwell, new one had out of spec take down pin holes.
I don't think all anderson lowers are junk, but there are enough people with the same issues from both generations to convince me to spend more on a better quality lower for future builds.

Re: Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lowers.
Thinking of 6.5 Grendel. Anybody do a build on this caliber or even had range time. Checking into ballistics and this might be the best all around for distance, accuracy and thump on the 5.56 platform. If you personally have experience on the 6.5 any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lowers.
I am inclined to disagree. .300blk is just below 7.62x39 in power. 30/30 generally uses a 170 grain bullet, neither .300 or x39 can be loaded with that heavy of a bullet without really losing velocity. Even with 150's 30/30 can get up to almost 2,400 fps, .300 blk barely gets over 2,000
