CNC turned bullets
I bought a fw boxes of stuff at an auction. In one of the boxes was a box of 50 6.5 mm 120-grain bullets- and the box said they were "CNC turned". Anyone heard of such a thing? Strikes me as really expensive to do. The company was in PA. '
I loaded up some 6.5 x 55...guess we'll see how they shoot....but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with FMJBTHP bullets made in this way?

Re: CNC turned bullets
Pretty common these days with bullets, they are just expensive. But pure copper or brass bullets regardless of manufacturer are usually more expensive than cast or swaged lead bullets. Lehigh Defense is one of the bigger (if not the biggest) producer of cnc machined bullets in PA. They usually shoot quite well, just expensive.

Re: CNC turned bullets
Thanks, guys...I married these bullets to once - fired Norma cases, benchrest primers....and will put them downrange with an ex-Swede sniper wearing a repro M-41 scope mount (which has proven amazingly accurate). We'll see what happens!
