    Default Where can I buy Chickens in Phila area

    I am in the market for some egg laying chickens, I would like to buy them withen 1 hour of Phila area, I dont want to buy them from some market in China town,
    There has to be somewhere local, Mabey NJ or bucks/berks/montgomery county!

    Can't help you with Philly but my Dad had 2 chickens for a while. He just wanted fresh eggs. He ended up with two roosters.

    Only place I know of is KFC !! I dont even think they use chicken

    Ask around North Philly. Probably some Dominican or Puerto Rican place has them. I seen some chickens wandering around the street in Camden before, so maybe try there too.

    I personally think he planted them too deep and head down.
