Re: Reviews: FCO, Claytons, Target World
French Creek charges fifty cents to replace the clips. If Target World has something in writing about paying for carrier damage, it must be new. I have not been back since last year when they were mopping up blood by the range entrance.

Re: Reviews: FCO, Claytons, Target World
They do, not specifically carrier damage, but any damage you cause do to negligent shooting. And every person who uses the range is notified of it, and has to sign a form stating they understand... every time they use the range. I think there is even a sign posted. That's clear enough for anyone.
Like I said, I'll shoot at any of them. You've made it very clear, you don't like TW.

Don't get me wrong, TW is a nice facility & their ammo prices are fair. It's just not my first choice to shoot there.

Re: Reviews: FCO, Claytons, Target World
Just to be clear... We are talking about Target World in Chalfont, PA.
Not Targetmaster in Chadds Ford, PA.
Correct?
The last injury that I can find reported at Target World was Sept. 2007. Targetmaster's last reported injury was Oct. 2015.Last edited by Auriemma; March 6th, 2017 at 04:11 PM.

Re: Reviews: FCO, Claytons, Target World
Why would we be comparing a range in Delaware County to French Creek + Claytons?
I checked & I believe it was the weekend of June 25/26 last year:

Forgot to mention,Target World has Mason Arms located adjacent to their parking lot, so they have that going for them too.

Interesting, you never mention the range name in your post. and I cannot find any reference to it on google.
I'll ask about next time I'm there.
Thanks for mentioning Mason Arms, I might need to get some sight work done.Last edited by Auriemma; March 7th, 2017 at 08:28 AM.

Re: Reviews: FCO, Claytons, Target World
After speaking with the RSO at Target World, the last shooting injury (projectile related) was 2007. They have had a few slide bite hand injuries since then.

No... theses were older gentlemen. There was one younger clerk with a beard and pointy hair. He has a stepdad, but his would never be on gun forums.

Re: Reviews: FCO, Claytons, Target World
I met a friend at target world last weekend, this was my first time there in a while. With the recent ATF clarification of pistol braces, I installed the SB Tactical brace on my AR pistol & brought it with me expecting to get shit from the freedom hating range officers. One did ask if it was an SBR, personally I appreciate people not walk up on me & start asking questions when I am shooting but I let him know it was not. Instead of the same speech from last time about the dangers of scary firearms like AR & AK pistols, the range officer confirmed that they are now ok with these since the ATF clarification. My friend & I managed to enjoy the rest of our time there, & I will definitely be back.
On the other hand, I had French Creek send a pistol back to the manufacturer for warranty repair & they charged me $45 for shipping despite providing a flat rate shipping box when I dropped it off. This puts them at the top of my shit list, I had no choice but to pay their exorbitant UPS charge to get my pistol back. The guy behind the counter also said he would have to charge me for a background check but fortunately his coworker corrected him before my head exploded. They just got the Mossburg Shockwave in stock & as much as I want one, I will not be spending any money at French Creek in the foreseeable future.
