9 0z. , 1 inch Mini Taurus .38 Revolver
Seems like Taurus has a 9 oz. 1 inch barrel 38 special revolver coming out in 2014 Interesting. And before we all go Taurus bashing, I have two rock solid .357 Taurus revolvers.

Kind of odd looking

Not my cup of tea... But options are always good to have. Nothing against Taurus at all.. ...I'd love to have another model 851(had to sell mine), and a few other of their revolvers.
I'm not crazy about the see-through side plate or the really short barrel. But I'm sure there are folks out there that would like this.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Is this the first Tupperware revolver?
(Or have there been other "view" models? I'm not familiar with that segment of the market.)I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.

1-inch barrel. My thoughts... if they're gonna do one inch, they should come up with their own proprietary .38 special that would preclude use in actual .38s and vice-versa so they can load the round with a fast powder.
My instinct reaction to the clear side plate is it might invite accidental shootings to see the innards working. Other than that, might be a good thing to keep watch on pocket lint.

Should have just cut the cylinder for moon clips to use the shorter and higher pressure 9x19. Could have made the cylinder shorter which would reduce weight and add a little length to the barrel for better ballistics. Could keep the same short OAL of the gun.
The little thing looks real weird but most is probably mostly the dumb coloration.

I don't get the whole Lexan Panel, but looks interesting.
.38 coming out of a 9oz gun, with a small hard handle also makes me think its a pain to shoot.
I don't understand why they made a .38 revolver that small, yet their .380 and 9mm revolver is still about the same size and weight as a standard .38 snubbie.
Make a tiny .380 revolver that could compete in size and weight most .380 pocket pistols, or create a compact 9mm "Lemon squeezer", now that would be interesting.

The clear Lexan will scratch up, get dirty, cloud up and look like shit in short order. Unless it sits in the safe and is never shot. Even a glossy black plastic cover will scratch up and look like crap. Better off with a hard anodized aluminum cover IMO.
