Lee Pro Auto Disc Modification
Can anyone point me to where I read this or give me advice? Setting up my Pro Auto Disc and I remember someone saying to sand some spots of the discs and coat some surfaces with graphite? This make sense? I can't find my notes now unfortunately. I have very very fine grit and sandpaper and some graphite powder but no notes. Thanks!

If the link works it may be what you're referring to.For those who've never fought for it, the price of freedom shall never be known.

Re: Lee Pro Auto Disc Modification
I never sanded mine any or coated anything with graphite. Main thing I did was wash all the parts with dish soap and let them dry completely. Then ran over everything well with a drier sheet to remove the as much static as possible and then run powder through it. The parts will blacken up some from use and work better.
A mod you can do to make fine adjustments on the discs is add a set screw. Drill and tap the cavity for a set screw. You can turn the set screw in or out to adjust the charge. The adj charge bar is known for not being consistent.

Thanks for the response. I guess I will clean and let dry and see how it works before I go messing up anything!
