    Default Xd 45 mod2 vs m&p 45 full size

I want a full size 45 carry pistol. It's gonna be one of these I believe. If I go with the m&p it's going to be the 2.0 version. The only gun that has me hesitating is the xd mod 2. It's a bit smaller but holds more rounds. What's everyone's thought?

I have a XD Mod 2 in 9mm however you mentioned you wanted a 45 ACP... From what I heard they are producing that pistol in that caliber and may be on the shelves anytime sooner. Nonetheless the XD mod in the caliber you request may be a little bigger than the 9mm only if that fits well for you... I love the 45s however I picked 9mm for target practice due to their cheaper prices. Good luck!

If you're looking for a full size 45 polymer gun and you've got Springfield in mind, look at the XDm 45. Much nicer grip, IMO. I've shot the M&P 45 and I own the XDm 45. I like them both.

Dark horse candidate is the FNP45. It's big, but also holds 14 to 15 rounds of 45. Accurate with a good trigger. It just so happens I have one for sale...
