Not sure where else to post this because it is an on-line supplier as opposed to a walk in shop. But I still want to give this business my recommendation. I have been reloading now for more than a decade and just want to enthusiastically recommend the products that I have tried from Steel Valley Casting. I just got around to reloading some 158 grain .357 Semi-Wad Cutters with the gold colored Hi-Tek coating. These are the best coated bullets I have tried so far, and I have used several from several different companies. Sure does seem like the folks over at Steel Valley Casting have figured out the best way to apply this type of coating. All the bullets are uniformly coated. No lead exposure, SO MUCH LESS SMOKE, and the guns are much much easier to clean when compared to shooting the old "lube ring" lead cast bullets.

The 230 Grain Round Nose 45 caliber bullets are also excellent quality and the accuracy I am able to get from my SR 1911 with 5.5 grains of Unique is exceptional.

I also have a bunch of the 220 grain 300 Blk that I will load up soon and see what I can do.

So far the ordering and the customer service has been excellent. Shipping has been quick and packaging is fine.

I am originally from Pittsburgh and now reside in Central PA so not only do I enjoy the quality of the products I sure enjoy supporting a Western , PA business.

    Thanks for the great review.

I try to do my best at making a good product at a competitive price. After 3 years of commercial casting, our product has seen many changes and definitely has improved from when we started. I know I can't please everyone but since we started we really have had a great run. So far I have not had to return a single box of bullets and we really haven't had any type of negative complaint. At worst a few people didn't like ours compared to someone else's bullets. And I can understand that. That's why there are so many manufactures out there today. You have a choice for what you like.

We are still a growing company and I hope to add some new mold designs as demand grows for some of the oddball calibers. Till then keep on shooting and I'll keep on casting.

On a side note we soon will have our first official sponsored shooter this year. A friend of mine from a local club who shoots IDPA locally and nationally will be using our bullets for all his competition use.

See you guys on the range,

    Ron
