Unhappy So my wife went to the doctor yesterday..

And an hour or so later I get a call from the doctor saying I need to pick up my wife and take her to the emergency room. Her blood pressure was 220/160 and the left side of her face was going numb. Needless to say I was worried but not too much because if it was a real emergency the doctor would have called an ambulance.

Well after being in the ER exam room for six hours last night and a miriad of tests they decide to keep her for more test and to try to stabilize her BP. She will be there at least till Sunday.

I know that doctors don't want to give any kind of diagnosis until they get done all of thier tests but I'm extremely worried that they are looking for signs of a stroke.

Please keep us in your prayers.
I will update here when I find out more.

SOooooo sucks. We'll keep you in our prayers. I was hoping this thread was going to announce a pregnancy.

Just in case it is a stroke.. St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne has a highly regarded Dr. who specializes in strokes. PM me and I can give you all his information.

Best wishes for the Misses. Hopes that it is nothing serious and thoughts for a positive outcome.
