And yet, a cautionary tale here

A Los Angeles homeowner who used a firearm to fend off apparent would-be robbers at his home said his concealed carry permit was taken away just days after the residential-neighborhood shoot-out.

"After successfully defending my home and my family and my 5-month-old child, California has now decided to suspend my Second Amendment [rights]," L.A. resident and married father of one Vince Ricci said in a video for the NRA that was exclusively shared with Fox News Digital.

Ricci told Fox News Digital that the sheriff's office called him Thursday morning to inform him his concealed carry permit was "revoked," and he said it was due to him "yelling" at Los Angeles police officers when they visited his home to investigate the shooting three days after the incident. Ricci previously railed that the LAPD * the department investigating the case * carried out "sloppy police" work, including allegedly not picking up the casings scattered near his home as evidence.

On July 3, NRA member Raul Mendez was celebrating freedom with his family and friends when a man walked in and opened fire. Raul was shot through the head, but still got up, pulled his concealed carry, and took out the shooter. The media never covered his story. And we all know why.

Even shivering chihuahua geriatric tourists should know that 10pm down there on any given night is a *bad idea*.

An armed bystander at a Tennessee Dollar General jumped into action Tuesday, shooting and killing one of three suspects during an ongoing robbery.

The shooting occurred at a Memphis location on Winchester Road around 10:34 a.m., according to a release from the Memphis Police Department.

"Preliminary information indicates that three armed suspects were robbing the business," according to the release. "During the incident, a subject observed the robbery in progress and fired a shot, striking suspect #1. Suspects #2 and #3 fled the the scene."

A short investigation proceeded, and one of the two fleeing suspects was detained. The third suspect remains at large, according to the release.

"Suspect #1 was transported critical to [a local hospital] and later succumbed to his injuries," according to the release. "Officers have the shooter and the suspect #2 detained at the scene."
